AMAZING! Our experience couldn’t have been better. We ordered lunch and breakfast food, all spectacular and very reasonably priced. Our favorite dish was the catfish. The waitress was so sweet and helpful in staying mindful of one the allergies we had. We will be back!

If you’re looking for a home cookin feel or to dine in a family atmospheric restaurant with all things “TEXAS” you came to the right spot! This morning, Liz went above and beyond in providing excellent care, top notch service and delivered upon us suggestions on items off of the menus (pie pantry and breakfast options) and we trusted her advice. Boy were we happy!! Every bite hit the spot and we are lucky to have stumbled into this beautiful establishment with lots of friendly faces that will soon feel like family! Don’t miss out on this superb dining experience!

Great breakfast after camping trip at Lake Whitney State park. We had the Texas skillet, sausage skillet, french toast, eggs & grits. Biscuits & gravy was yummy. All food hit the spot. Nice country restaurant vibe. Service was attentive. Place was packed.

I want to commend the cafe for their wonderful service and food. We come every Sunday and we like to sit in the back and socialize with delicious pies and coffee after we eat. However, I’ve been in the food service industry for over 20 years and witnessed how professional and calm they stayed towards some unhappy customers that were part of a biker group. We moved from another table just so they could accommodate 40 of them, who did not make reservations or give a heads up they were coming at peak breakfast time, on a Sunday. A select few were unhappy with the wait time on food but majority of them never complained. We enjoy coming to the cafe! Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and wonderful people! We will always be regulars there!!

Awesome waiter! Everyone here is very friendly! Came here for breakfast. I tried a chicken fried steak for the first time. I also loved their ultimate breakfast burrito. Will be coming back here when I’m back in Texas.

This place is known for its pies for many reasons. #1 they are good. It is a good place for a good meal for Breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have been here for each. And if you’re lucky you might just see Chip and Joanna Gaines here with their children eating a meal. We have a couple of times. We didn’t today, but we got to enjoy a good meal.
